I am away from my massage therapy practice, assisting with my father’s end of life care. I will be gone at least until January 1, 2024. When I am ready to reopen my practice and massage therapy appointment times again, I will send notification by email. Jessica has been a registered massage therapist (RMT) since 2000. Her massage treatments give relief from pain due to specific injuries - like whiplash, tendinitis, headaches, low back or neck spasms - or can be for pure relaxation purposes, or a bit of both. She works with a combination of myofascial release, trigger point release, neuromuscular techniques and traditional Swedish massage. In 2000, she graduated from Northumberland College’s massage therapy program where she went on to teach for three years. She has worked at The Halifax Osteopathic Health Centre and at Eastwind Health Associates. Jessica is registered with the Massage Therapists' Association of Nova Scotia (MTANS). She is also First Aid/CPR certified. In addition to being an RMT, Jessica is also an ex-Canada World Youth participant and the founder of (and a volunteer for) a public clinic that provides free alternative health care for people living on low incomes. She also plays recreational soccer and writes short fiction.
